About

I help foreign professionals and companies navigate careers and business in Japan — from resume positioning to full market entry strategy.

After 17 years living, studying, and building a career across the United States, I returned to Japan in 2022 with something rare: genuine fluency in both cultures, not just the language.

My Story

I grew up in Japan, and until my late teens, Japan was the only world I knew. I wanted to see more of it — and I wanted to play basketball at a higher level than I could at home. So at the start of my junior year of high school, I moved to Oklahoma to finish high school in the U.S.

From there, I attended Central Christian College in Kansas before transferring to San Diego State University, where I studied Business Administration — influenced in part by watching my father run his own company back in Japan.

After graduating, I built my career across the U.S., including stretches in Los Angeles and West Virginia. By 2022, I had spent exactly 17 years in the United States — the same number of years I had spent growing up in Japan. That balance felt meaningful, and it felt like the right time to bring everything I had learned back home. I settled in Fukuoka, where I’ve been based ever since, building this next chapter of my career in Japan.
